Each character is individually cut and set onto or into a matte base panel, giving your address a physical depth and shadow line that a printed or applied graphic simply cannot reproduce. Standard Laser Cut

Our core range. A matte acrylic base in black, white or grey, with laser-cut lettering in white, black, grey, silver mirror, bronze mirror or gold mirror. Three cut profiles are available: raised, where the lettering stands proud of the base panel; in-depth, where it sits inset flush into the panel; and no base, where the characters are supplied as individual cut letters mounted straight to your surface. Available small through extra large, landscape or portrait.

Decorative Design

The same laser-cut construction with a signature Australian silhouette worked into the layout — choose the kookaburra or the tree. The motif is cut to sit alongside your address rather than crowd it, and carries the same base and lettering finishes as the standard range. Available in medium and large.

Landscape or portrait?

Landscape is the traditional format and suits letterbox faces, wide fence rails and horizontal pillars. Portrait suits narrow vertical surfaces — gate posts, slat fencing, rendered entry columns — where width is limited but height is not. Both orientations carry the same laser-cut finishes and the same price at every size, so choose on the shape of your mounting surface, not on cost.

Which size do I need?

Sizing is driven by two things: how much text you need to fit, and how far the sign sits from the road. Small suits a house number with a short street name. Extra large carries a longer street name at a scale that stays legible from well back on the verge. Each product page lists exact dimensions and the maximum character count for that size — check both against your mounting surface before ordering.

As a general guide, a sign readable from 10–15 metres covers most suburban frontages. If your house sits back behind a long driveway, step up a size.

Where to mount your sign

Letterbox — the most common position, and the first place a courier looks. Pick a size that fits the face plate without crowding the mail aperture.

Fence or gate — keeps your address at eye level for pedestrians and drivers alike. Choose a base colour that contrasts with the fence behind it.

Wall or pillar — beside the front door, or on a rendered entry column. Works well for units, townhouses and commercial premises where a letterbox isn't practical.

Laser-cut acrylic mounts to most surfaces. If you want the sign to float off the wall with a shadow gap behind it, add a set of aluminium standoffs.

Personalisation and lead time

Personalising is straightforward: enter your street number, enter your street name, choose your alignment, then check and confirm the preview. Abbreviations are made exactly as entered — type "St" and you'll get "St", not "Street".

• What does raised, in-depth and no base actually mean?

  Raised lettering sits proud of the base panel, catching light and throwing a soft shadow for a three-dimensional look. In-depth lettering is inset flush into the base panel for a cleaner, more minimal face. No base means the characters are supplied as individual cut letters with no backing panel at all, mounted directly to your wall, fence or pillar.

• Will laser-cut acrylic last outdoors in the Australian sun?

  Yes — the panels are exterior-grade acrylic built for outdoor use. For fully exposed coastal positions with constant sun and salt air, our 316 stainless steel range is the more robust choice.

• Can I put both my house number and street name on one sign?

  Yes — that's the standard layout. The number and street name sit on separate lines, and you choose left, centred or right alignment. Each size has a maximum character count listed on its product page; a longer street name may call for a larger size.

• What are the mirror lettering finishes like?

  Silver, bronze and gold mirror are reflective acrylic finishes rather than paint or plating. They read as metallic in daylight and pick up ambient light at dusk, which lifts contrast against a matte base without needing illumination.

• How do I mount it?

  Laser-cut acrylic signs suit most surfaces — letterboxes, timber and metal fencing, brick, render and gate posts. Aluminium standoffs are available separately if you want the sign to sit off the wall with a shadow gap behind it.

• How long until my sign arrives?

• How do I clean it?

  Wipe with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads — they will scratch the acrylic surface and dull the finish.
