Medium 316 Stainless Custom Sign with Kookaburra Design – Laser Etched (Landscape)
A premium stainless steel address sign with permanent laser etched lettering and our signature kookaburra — designed for clean, modern entry points and compact mounting areas.
Our laser etched signs are made on pre-cut 316 marine grade stainless steel plates. The plate size is fixed and not adjustable, and this range is supplied with square corners as standard.
Laser etching permanently marks the stainless surface using concentrated heat. The etched lettering and artwork appear dark grey to charcoal (not a flat ink-black) and may look slightly different depending on lighting and viewing angle. The finish is crisp, durable, and designed to hold up in outdoor conditions.
The kookaburra artwork is a Dagood original — drawn and refined by our team to create a clean Australian-inspired feature alongside your street number and address.
The live preview on the product page allows you to customise your sign in real time. As you enter your street number and address, you’ll see it appear instantly on the preview image, letting you experiment with fonts and layout before ordering. Final layouts are always manually checked and adjusted by our team before etching to ensure everything is perfectly aligned.
Alignment
- Left alignment
- Right alignment
To suit the kookaburra layout, centred alignment isn’t available on this design.
Best Suited For
This medium landscape size (300 × 150 mm) is a strong match for these Dagood letterboxes:
- Clasti Freestanding Parcel Letterbox
- Plaza II Freestanding Parcel Letterbox
- Parker Freestanding Parcel Letterbox
- Aventi Freestanding Parcel Letterbox
- Apex Fence/Brick Parcel Letterbox
If you’re installing on a different model or surface, measure your available flat area first. As a guide, leave a small border around the sign for the cleanest proportions.
Mounting
- Supplied with commercial-grade 3M double-sided tape (standard)
- Suitable for most flat surfaces including rendered walls, fences, and letterboxes
Note: Standoff mounting isn’t available on this range, as the stainless steel plate isn’t drilled for fixings.

FAQs
Can I order this design without the kookaburra?
The kookaburra is part of this design and can’t be removed. If you’d like the same clean lettering without a graphic, choose our standard Medium 316 Stainless Custom Sign.
Why can’t I centre the text?
To suit the kookaburra layout, alignment is limited to left or right for the cleanest overall balance.
Why is there no divider line option?
To keep the kookaburra artwork balanced and uncluttered, divider lines aren’t available on this design.
Is the etched colour a true black?
No. Laser etching creates a permanent dark mark on stainless steel that appears dark grey to charcoal. The tone can vary slightly depending on lighting and the angle you view it from.
Is the stainless plate size adjustable?
No. These signs use pre-cut stainless steel plates with fixed dimensions, including square corners. Your layout is designed to suit the selected size for the best balance and readability.
Will the preview look exactly like the final sign?
The preview is a guide. Final spacing and alignment are manually checked and adjusted by our team before etching.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. The sign is supplied with commercial-grade tape for straightforward installation on most flat surfaces.
