Vinyl Decal Installation Guide

Put your Dagood address decal on in eight steps. The same steps are on the guide that comes with your decal.

Before You Start

10 °C or warmer. Dry surface, not hot to touch.

You Need

• Isopropyl alcohol
• A clean cloth
• A pencil
• A plastic card or your fingers

Steps

1. Clean. Wipe the surface with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry.
2. Mark a level line. Draw a light pencil line where the bottom of the frame will sit. Rub it out once the decal is on.
3. Press. Lay the decal face down, backing paper up. Press firmly all over so every letter grips the clear tape.
4. Peel the backing. Peel slowly at a sharp angle, close to the surface.
   If a letter stays on the backing, lay it back down, press over that spot, then peel again slowly from a different angle.
5. Place. Line up the frame with your level line, then press from the centre out.
6. Peel the tape. Wait 15 minutes. Peel slowly at a sharp angle, close to the surface. If a letter lifts, press it back down and peel more gently.
7. Keep the frame or not. Your choice: leave it on, or peel it off now.
8. Leave it. No washing for 48 hours.

Curved Surfaces

On a curved front, start in the centre and work outward.

Care

Hand wash. If pressure washing, keep 75 cm away and spray straight on, never at the edges.
